I was born and raised in a small town in East Texas, moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, and I fell in love with the area! I currently live in Round Rock, Texas with my husband, bonus son, and two puppers.
I am a travel junkie who wants to learn everything I can about other cultures and ways of life. I have been to many countries for medical mission work, and I am blessed to have traveled to Mongolia, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Africa to name a few. I’ve also backpacked through Europe and continue to travel as often as possible.
Besides yoga, I have a huge love for nature and all of God’s creation. I enjoy gardening, adore working with plants and animals, and love finding natural/holistic ways to enjoy life.
After 15+ years in EMS and crisis response, I noticed the toll it was taking on my physical, mental, and emotional health. I decided to complete 31 days of trauma- informed yoga on my own, and the results were life-changing.
Over the past few years, I’ve obtained my 200-hour, Trauma-Sensitive/Informed, and Master Yoga certifications through Holy Yoga. It has been an amazing adventure, and I hope to share the same healing with you.
